storyboards for practical directors Samples The following storyboards were drawn for the 2009 film, 16 to Life, directed by Emmy-nominated director Becky Smith. Becky specifically asked for a set of masters for her and her cinematographer to work off of to create a shotlist. We were under some tough deadlines, so the entire script (100+ pages) was boarded in just 10 days. As a result, these boards are very rough even by my standards, but as you can see, they served their purpose. Note: because this is an unreleased film, I've decided to post only nonsequential pages, so as not to spoil the plot. 1.
